Enter the tenth British Contemporary Piano Competition. The deadline for applications is 1 October 2016
The British Contemporary Piano Competition was founded by Philip Mead in 1988 with the express intention of encouraging aspiring professional players to treat the music of today with the same seriousness of purpose which they afford to conventional repertoire, and to enable gifted players to demonstrate their skill at interpreting repertoire of exceptional musical and technical complexity. At the same time, the competition offers cash prizes and a range of career-development opportunities for the winner.
